Successful launch of Khayyam satellite with Soyuz launcher.
At 10:22 am on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, the Khayyam satellite was successfully launched from the Baikonur in Kazakhstan by the Soyuz satellite to be placed in an orbit of 500 km from the earth.

The first Cubest conference with the presence of the head of Iran Space Agency
The first CUBEST conference was held on July 12, 2022 with the presence of the head of the Iranian Space Agency in the Innovation and Prosperity Fund Conference Hall.
In this conference, the top teams of the first round of the competition presented the results, and the participating teams in the conceptual design phase of the second round and the members of the scientific committee of the competition were appreciated.

A new satellite construction project with an IOT mission
The new satellite construction project with IOT mission was announced by the secretariat of the cubic satellite design and construction competition to the four teams that entered the phase of engineering model construction from the first round of the competition. Each of the four engineering model teams prepared a proposal for this mission and during a meeting held on Wednesday, July 1, 1401 at MCI LAB, they presented their proposal in order to select the most optimal design for this mission.

A meeting to inquire about the construction of an engineering model
On Monday, May 16, 2022, a meeting to inquire about engineering model construction and propose a new project to the teams was held in the presence of the supervisor of four engineering model construction teams, the secretary of the competition, and members of the scientific committee at MCI LAB. At the end of this meeting, it was decided that the S-band patch antenna and the panels are considered functional and the antenna pattern test is acceptable in a simulated way. It was also decided that by June 15th, during a meeting with the members of the scientific committee, the secretariat will announce the first schedule of the engineering model test (including the access of the teams to the laboratory and the delivery of ACS) to the teams that have entered the construction phase.

Extension of the conceptual design phase of the second round of the competition
Dear participants
👉🏻With the request of most of the teams participating in the second round of the competition to increase the time of the conceptual design phase and after reviewing the issue by the scientific committee of the competition, it was agreed to extend the design phase time until the end of June,21,2022.
✨It should be noted that the scientific committee of the competition has decided to consider encouragement points for the teams that submit their design reports by April 20, 2022.
➡️So, the deadline for submitting the conceptua! design report will be June 21, 2022, and sending the report after April 20, until June 21, will not have any concession for the teams.

Space Investment Quarterly- Q1 2021
Over the last 10 years, there has been $186.7B of equity investment across 1,480 unique companies in the space economy, led by investment in the U.S. and China, which collectively account for 75% of the global total. Investors deployed another $4.5B into space companies in Q1, which was the fourth consecutive quarter of declining investment after a record quarter in Q2 2020. However, the trend towards larger, late-stage deals continued in Q1 with the top 10 rounds accounting for $3.5B or (77%) of the total investment in the quarter.Early-stage activity remains healthy, accounting for 41% of rounds closed in Q1. Following a recording year of Infrastructure investment, the stack now accounts for 18% of total investment in the last 10 years.
